SVG and DXF, explained
An SVG describes shapes for the web and for design tools like Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma and CorelDRAW. A DXF describes the same kind of 2D geometry in the way CAD and CAM software expect. The shapes are equivalent, which is why a faithful conversion is possible; the difference is mostly which programs will open the file.

Can I convert an SVG file to DXF?
Yes. Any SVG made of vector shapes (paths, rectangles, circles, and so on) converts to DXF here. An SVG that only contains an embedded photo has no vector geometry to convert.
