Introduction

NestMaxx is a free tool for true-shape nesting: it arranges the parts you need to cut so they pack tightly onto a sheet of material, wasting as little as possible. It runs entirely on your own device, so there is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.

If you cut parts on a laser, plasma, waterjet or router, NestMaxx helps you fit more of them onto every sheet. Give it your parts and a sheet size, press one button, and it works out a dense layout for you. You can then fine-tune that layout by hand and export it ready for your machine or drawing package.

What you can do

• Add parts from a library of ready-made shapes, or import your own from DXF and SVG files.
• Nest those parts onto a sheet automatically, packing them as tightly as the settings allow.
• Edit the layout by hand: drag parts around, rotate them, and drop small parts into the holes of larger ones.
• Control the spacing between parts and the clearance from the sheet edge.
• Export the finished layout as a DXF or SVG file.

Everything stays on your device

NestMaxx does all of its work online in the page itself. Your parts, your sheets and your layouts never leave your device. There is no account, no upload and no server storing your designs. When you close the page your work is saved locally so it is waiting for you next time.
