The first stable release. NestMaxx now ships with full product documentation alongside the core nesting tool. Everything still runs online, with nothing to install and nothing uploaded.

New since the pre-alpha:

• Product documentation: a complete set of guides covering the workspace, importing CAD and vector files, running and reading a nest, editing the layout by hand, sheet and material settings, and exporting DXF and SVG.
• Refinements across nesting quality, import handling and the overall experience.

v0.9.0

10 July 2026 - pre-alpha

The first pre-alpha release of NestMaxx. This version establishes the core of the tool:

• True-shape nesting of parts onto a sheet, with adjustable quality and speed.
• A shape library of ready-made parametric parts.
• DXF and SVG import for bringing in your own parts.
• Hand editing of the layout: move, rotate, snap to neighbours and fill holes.
• Adjustable spacing between parts and clearance from the sheet edge.
• DXF and SVG export of the finished layout.

This is a pre-alpha release. Some features are still being built and details may change between versions. If something looks wrong, check this page after the next update.
